06.14.08 Happy Father's Day!

We took daddy to the Classic Car show at the zoo today for Father's Day since he's such a great daddy! We had a great time, although it was very hot. After walking around and viewing all of the cool old cars (and a few new ones, too), we went to the zoo and got to see some really cool animals, too! Grant was a little bit grumpy because he didn't want to put on sunscreen or wear a hat, so in our struggle to put sunscreen on him, he succeeded in getting it in his eye. It evidentally burned because he got a little whiney and kept rubbing his eye, which I'm sure didn't help matters any. He sure got excited when he saw the fish, though! He stood and watched them for at least 10 minutes. He also was intrigued by the snakes. They had a little water park at the zoo where we played for a long time. It was sooo hot, so the water felt great! I think it was the favorite part of all of our days!
