Grant's new haircut!

We have a very good friend, Randy Martinez, that goes to school with Chris. His wife, Jessi, has become one of my best friends here, and Grant adores their son, Josiah, who is 7 weeks younger than Grant. They are pregnant now, and their second baby's due date is 5 weeks after ours. It has been fun to watch our families grow together over the last few years! Randy is an expert at cutting thier little boy's hair, so he came over last night to attempt to cut Grant's hair. He did a wonderful job - probably one of the best haircuts we've had on him so far. Grant hates getting his hair cut and squirms and screams the entire time. You'd really think someone was hurting the kid terribly because of the screams he lets loose! So after 1/2 an hour, he had a new haircut and was thrilled to get in the bath! Thank you, Randy, for putting up with the screams long enough to cut our little man's hair! On a side-note, we are thrilled to find out today that we now have a house in Jacksonville! We are renting a cute little 3 bedroom 2 bathroom place - complete with a playroom! - in Orange Park, FL. It's about a 20 minute drive to the Naval Hospital, and is in a great neighborhood. We're so excited to know that we have a new home! We also found out that the Navy is coming to pack us and move us out on April 28-29. It's strange to think that it's really only a couple of weeks away that we'll be moving to our new home.

adorable haircut! Congrats on finding a house in FL! Sounds great! AND, what could be better than not having to lift a finger to pack up your life?! Love you!

Wow, what a haircut! :-) I know that Randy enjoyed it....it's all I can do to keep the clippers AWAY from Josiah's head every week.

Yea on the house! And I'm so glad to hear that there is the potential that you will still be here when little AJ arrives.(You owe me a hospital visit) :-)

Oh....it makes grandma cry. Grant looks so much older, like a little boy instead of my baby boy.
