09.03.08 We've Arrived!

We arrived safely in IN after a very long day at the airport. The boys did a great job on the plane...Mason slept through both flights, and Grant was a good boy, sitting quietly for the most part and playing well with a few toys that we brought. The hardest part was getting through security. My friend, Courtney, dropped us off at the airport and I was so thankful that she was there to help me with the kids while I got the tickets, etc. Boy, was it stressful! Luckily, the rest of the trip wasn't near as bad! Grant stopped his whining, and Mason was so sleepy. Whew! After we got here, my parents realized that they hadn't taken the golf clubs out of the trunk, so my poor mom had to sit with the golf bag between her knees all the way home to Kokomo because our two suitcases and double stroller wouldn't fit in the trunk otherwise. We went over to Jason and Kendra's house after we got here for dinner. Grant had so much fun playing with his cousins, Jaybin and Kinsen. He's found some new best friends! They went outside to ride bikes (Jaybin and Kinsen are pros...Grant had trouble figuring out how to do the pedals, but he's on his way to learning). They wrestled, did gymnastics on the bed in Kinsen's room, played with trucks and balls, etc. They were great together, and Grant was so sad to leave. I'm looking forward to many more get-togethers in the next few weeks.
