09.05.08 Time with Great-Grandma and Grandpa Beutler

Mom and dad had an appointment Friday nights, so I called Grandma and Grandpa Beutler and asked if they could pick me up in Plymouth at Grandma Morgan's house so that I could spend some time with them, as well as go see Tim and Laura McGann, my dear friends and old youth pastors (we had a great time visiting, playing with blocks and with their dog. Grant was hooked immediately!). Grandpa was able to come get me, so we had a great evening spent at their house. Grant played with Callie, his second cousin, who is in the second grade. They had lots of fun together. She taught him how to "Attack!" He points to someone, jumps up and lands with his feet spread apart while shouting, "ATTACK" with a big smile on his face. Kind of silly, but it kept them both occupied for a while. We also went for a little walk, Grant found a puddle to splash in, and we watched the ducks at the pond for a while. My grandparents just got back from Cancun and brought the boys both a shirt to remind them that they love them. It was so sweet, and Grant loves his new shirt! He wears it proudly. We sure enjoyed our time with Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Beutler. It was a lovely, quiet evening spent enjoying each other. Thanks for picking us up! We loved it! Proudly showing off their new shirts: Grant acting like a duck:
